A Guided Reading Course for Yoga Teachers

There is a body of essential Yoga philosophy that every Yoga teacher and committed student needs to know. More important, these teachings form the basis for deeper knowledge of the path and its application to your own practice.

In this course, you’ll be guided through the key teachings within the most important Sanskrit scriptures that make up Yoga’s core teachings. This course consists of four sub-workshops:

Workshop #1: The Principal Upanishads
Workshop #2: Patanjali Yoga Sutras and Samkhya Karikas
Workshop #3: The Bhagavad Gita
Workshop #4: The Yoga Vasishtha

Upon completing each workshop unit, you’ll also gain practical tools based on these insightful readings to apply to your practice and teaching.

Tantra for Yogis™: Liberation and Integration on the Path

The Yoga that we practice today in the West is a combination of classical Yoga and Tantric teachings.

In this course, you’ll be guided through the key teachings within the most important Sanskrit scriptures that make up the Tantric nature of Hatha Yoga in the West. This course consists of three sub-workshops:

Workshop #1: The Hatha Yoga Pradipika
Workshop #2: The Gherunda
Workshop #3: The Siva Samhita

Upon completing each workshop unit, you’ll also gain practical tools based on these insightful readings to apply to your practice and teaching.

SPECIALIZED COURSES IN YOGA AND TANTRA

Tantra for Yogis™: Kashmiri Shaiva Studies

This is a specialized course of study for serious students. It will consist of guided readings of the principal Shaiva Texts and Traditions: Shiva Manasa Puja, Shiva Sutras, Spanda Karikas.

Tantra for Yogis™: Shri Vidya Shakta Studies

This is a specialized course of study for serious students. It will consist of guided readings and instruction in chanting the most important Shri Vidya Chants: Shri Suktam, Khadgamala Ratna Stotram, Shri Lalita Sahasranama

Shri Cakra Navavarana Puja Practicum:

Specialized Training and Instruction in the Ritual Worship of the Shri Cakra
